Pestilentis Until this one, I had been ambiguous about tagging these kind of synth records as “Black Metal”. Because it is definitely not metal. But I’ve changed my mind after I listened “Mountains”. I realized that this record is absolutely not for everyone. You can not tag such a record as neofolk only. Dungeon synth seems perfect, but to my inexperience, I have not heard about this genre before. So, as it is for a lover of the black metal, and all the melody has the power of black metal, you shall tag it. TIR has a very sorrowful sound through all the record. It has the power of hypnosis for a blackened heart. And shall take you very very far away, beyond this world. Reminds me later Burzum releases. But much more deeper than the latest ones I shall say. Favorite track: Mountains.

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time. Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
